I’ve always been around the water as a kid. During my early years, I vividly remember our family packing our little inflatable raft in the back of the van and heading out to drive the lower Clackamas River. What is the deposit for? We collect a deposit when you rent equipment to encourage you to return it on time and in the same condition it was in when you received it. How do you come up with the amount? We determine the deposit based on the replacement value of the equipment rented. This includes paddles, life vests, etc. How much is the deposit? The deposit varies depending on the equipment rented. The list below shows the current deposit required for each equipment package we offer. This is added automatically to the rental fee at checkout.
